Who is charging whom in possession of the said evidence?

A 37-year-old military policeman at Fort Greely was arrested Thursday for allegedly distributing and possessing child sexual abuse material. ¶The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the Alaska State Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force in November 2024 that a user on Kik, an online messaging application, had distributing child sexual abuse material, according to a criminal complaint filed in the Fourth Judicial District. The account was linked to the email for Kenneth Conklin and an IP address for a Fort Greely barracks room.
The “Fourth Judicial District” is part of the local court system of the State of Alaska, and does not have any jurisdiction within U.S. military bases or military barracks rooms.
It is not clear whether the state’s presumed jurisdiction over U.S. military bases is entirely arbitrary or subject by lâchesse or default to explicit orders of the court-martial to terminate its jurisdiction in such cases.
It would naturally be presumed that if any court charges at all are to filed for “distributing and possessing child sexual abuse material” and/or similar verboten materials that there would be some exemption, whether implicit or explicitly stated for their possession and distribution by investigators as evidence and court process for the prosecution. Otherwise it would be logically impossible for the police officers to bring those particular charges in court wtihout making themselves guilty of the same crimes with which they desire to charge others.
At some point, if men given to the habits and vices of men are going to charge and prosecute other men for the same acts which they commit themselves, they are going to be grabbed by the jockstraps and thrown out of court entirely with it.
An alpha male showdown or duel somewhere is taking place and we are not yet getting the full story of it.
