So it’s a high society crash
“The figure skating community”
Tragic accident but it’s a free country. Anybody who can shovel snow off a frozen lake can figure skate. Or play hockey with a group of friends. Anyone who mows a field of grass can play golf on it.
Then the social exclusivity of it comes into play. Whatever those people do and they expect us to pay to watch, they do not permit us to do on our own. It’s a Russian “thing” of a type of class intimacy or friendship which once “spoken for” is forever denied to the common people.
The sport is very dangerous for those not skilled with a significant risk of injury on sharp blades and ice. Something we would call “risqué.” And the performance is a little bit off with the short hair, zero breasts, heavy makeup, and the man’s “gay” facial expression with the wide open mouth turned slightly away.
Does the man have a love of a woman for her being a woman?
It’s that Russian paradox again. That sort of intimacy which would have been cherished, once “spoken for,” is no more, and certainly was never something permitted for others outside of an official performance.
And then the labor union bosses, flight attendants’ union, air traffic controllers union, airline pilot’s union, just tell us how hard they all work for “high society” in America.

Something is a little bit gay about that figure-skating “community” if you need a full-blown jaw-flapping vice “community” to practice any sort of sport or public perfomance.
