If a rich fellow cuts his hair he cuts his hair, gets his business suit pressed etc., but the question here is exactly how much barbershoppery, psychic witchcraft, and astrology are to be tolerated by men who are in the business of being much about their business? Unlike as for the hair on a man's head, exactly none of those psych ladies are suggesting that a businessman ought to shave his face: that is something he has to come to his own decisions about. A man might be a military general with hair no longer than 1/8" and he still can’t keep those psych professionals out of it.
Ye shall not eat any thing with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times. Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard. Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.

That’s a little bit frightening in the Bible. It sounds like a man with an old-fashioned straight razor who slipped and gashed himself with it quite badly, blood all over his eyes and mouth, cursing and swearing a whole lot of enchantments, whether he’s going to shave his beard off or make cuttings in his flesh for the dead, or eat anything with blood running into his mouth. Those things can be quite deadly. That man needs to know what time it is when he picks up a sharp razor like that, according to Leviticus.
