Torture of Ukrainian POWs
It’s all relative, a matter of perspective to be had in different situations.
Russian Prison Authorities Approved Widespread Brutality Against Ukrainian POWs – WSJ - The Moscow Times
Russian prison authorities approved the use of brutality and torture against Ukrainian prisoners of war weeks after the Kremlin launched its invasion of Ukraine, The Wall Street Journal reported Monday.

One has to be somewhat sympathetic, realizing at the same time of course Ukraine has always maintained plenty of torture chambers of its own used by authorities to indefinitely detain, incarcerate, maim, mutilate, drug and interrogate its own citizens who are deemed political dissidents, social undesirables or mental defectives, etc. etc.

Ukrainian authorities are certainly not squeamish about using such extreme methods of torture and even worse on its own citizens somehow deemed mentally unfit or socially undesirable or guilty of political wrongthink in a court of “law” with whatever passes for “law” in the Ukraine.
