Why the bad reception in Europe?

We keep encountering that.

It’s a “non-lucrative” no-work no-business visa, and you have to live under their terms and conditions. Single females travel on an «au pair» basis only with iron-clad no-marriage morality enforcement, unless you bring your own spouse as the woman in the CNN story did. Meanwhile, single males are strung out in all-male hostels, low-class homeless shelters at hefty hotel-room rates per night with extra security guarantees so they don’t date the local girls, either.

Get a life. That’s really lame, as they used to say in the 1980s.

She relocated to Spain in 2022, but after struggling to adapt, this American woman has packed up and returned home | CNN
After vacationing in Spain a few times, Cristina Martinez, from the US, felt enamoured with the European country and was eager to return – for good. She left Miami for Spain in 2022, but decided to return home after just two years.

And the disaffection with local food, of course, depends on how often you “eat out” versus cooking in your own kitchen if you have a residence. And it’s full restaurant retail price at the grocery store for tiny pre-packaged quantities of bulk food you cook yourself in that case. They’re squatters? Oh, no, you’re the squatter in their country if you purchase or own real estate on a fee simple basis. You’re not paying your fair share in a worker based labor union economy where you’re not allowed to make money, if you own land. Not as if they're fronting bank loans for Americans over there either, or offering places for rent at reasonable rates.

There are too many “workers” in Europe, so hard at work, working us Americans out of our own jobs, houses and homes.

So let’s go for a CIA angle on this. You’re allowed to “live” in a foreign country, but no work and no dating the locals. You live at home in your owned or rented legally permitted residence, have all this “free time” to yourself. Privacy? Not a chance!

You are under government surveillance 100% of the time no matter what. It’s got to be. They are playing spy versus spy on you. Those governments believe you are a spy for even having a passport or chancing to visit their country on vacation. Of course, you’d be minding your own business, but you’re not allowed have any business of your own to mind, or even a non-lucrative hobby as an American in Europe! Europol cops are setting you up for a SWAT bust if you’re American and you “live” or “reside” anywhere officially in Europe!

We’ve all heard of German computer hackers SWATting people, and no different in Spain or other E.U. countries.
